The Upperville project is located in a heavily wooded, well-shaded area. The challenge with this kitchen was to make it light, bright and to open it up both visually and spatially.
Recessed ceiling lights, under-cabinet lighting and a stunning pendant light over the secondary island were installed to provide a profusion of task-related and ambient effects.
The design and construction of a dedicated cabinet to house the client’s beloved crystal collection serve as abundant storage space for these pieces as well as providing a stunning focal point for the kitchen as a whole.
The end result is a complete transformation from dark to light, outdated to cutting edge, drab to bright and full of character and taste.
