We began Potomac West in 1994. Our goal was to create a Company to serve the growing residential home communities in Northern Virginia and to be a part of the community. We love to design our projects with imagination and to build with lasting quality. We also enjoy building lasting relationships with our customers. Since 1994, over seventy-five percent of our new customers have come from referrals. Over 1500 projects have been completed along the way.

The company is owned by Leonard W. Owsenek, an engineering graduate of Rutgers University. Operations are managed by Vice President John Wilson, also an engineer and graduate of Worchester Polytechnic Institute. Annual sales in the first decade of the 21st century topped $3M. The company’s offices are at the center of its regional operating area centered in Sterling, Virginia near the Dulles Town Center Mall. Our bank is Wells Fargo. Our insurer is Erie of Pennsylvania. Potomac West is a Virginia Class “A” General Contractor.
